Can Ruti Campus presents an international seminar series on biomedical research

The IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute, the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC) and the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) have presented the Can Ruti Research Seminar Series 2018-2019. Eleven prestigious speakers from different fields of research will give seminars during the academic year on a range of health research topics of interest to scientists, doctors and students from all the institutions on the campus.

The Comparative Medicine and Bioimage Centre of Catalonia (CMCiB) opens for business

In June this year the new Comparative Medicine and Bioimage Centre of Catalonia (CMCiB) started its normal working activities.  Located at the highest point of the campus, the CMCiB is a centre promoted by the Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) and dedicated to biomedical research and training.  The centre is an important addition to scientific infrastructures in southern Europe and is the only one in Spain, it has been set up to become a reference in comparative medicine, bioimaging and computational models with a clear remit to promote alternative research models and methods

The Germans Trias Hospital and the IGTP in tandem have joined with the ten Catalan hospitals and their associated research centre who have agreed to participate in the Center for the Integration of Medicine and Innovative Technologies in Catalonia (CIMTI)

La 6a edició del programa Talents lliura les beques d’enguany i estrena ajuts per a la intensificació de recerca

Aquest dimecres dia 29 s'han lliurat els ajuts del Programa Talents de la Fundació Catalunya-La Pedrera i l'Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol. La 6a edició del programa premia 9 professionals de l'hospital Germans Trias i 4 d'Atenció Primària per fer recerca a l'IGTP i, a més, s'amplia amb les beques Germans Trias Sapiens, per a la intensificació de recerca a professionals de l'Hospital.

Dr Manuel Perucho Closes the 5th Conference in the Successful Series of Barcelona Conferences on Epigenetics and Cancer

Today Dr Manuel Perucho closed the 2^nd PMPPC Conference included in the 5th Barcelona Conference on Epigenetics and Cancer: Epigenetic Mechanisms in Health and Disease in a packed auditorium at CosmoCaixa. The event brings to a close the series of five conferences proposed by Dr Perucho in 2012.
