CMCiB 3R Seminar Program 2026
Organizer: CMCiB, CEEA
Date: From to
Venue: Seminar Room, IGTP Muntanya (except the fourth session)
The Comparative Medicine and Bioimage Centre of Catalonia (CMCiB) along with the Animal Experimentation Ethics Committee (CEEA) promotes a continuing professional development seminar program for staff working in preclinical research, with a particular focus on updating good practices in working with animal models to strengthen the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction and Refinement).
The seminars are free and open to the entire Can Ruti Campus, as well as to any users of the centre who may be interested. They are face-to-face seminars, primarily practical, aimed at addressing questions and providing knowledge on the various aspects that may affect the conduct of an experimental study involving animal models or their alternatives.
There are five sessions planned during the year 2026, which accredit two hours of continuous training each, for the maintenance of accreditation to work with animal models.
Prior registration via the web form is mandatory to obtain the certificate. Entrance registration is only for attendance tracking, and capacity is limited.
