The staff of the Translational Genomics Platform provides technical/methodological/scientific support and advice to research groups upon request, with the aim of promoting research, innovation, and knowledge in the field of genomics. In parallel, it offers daily genetic analysis services to the clinical diagnostic units at HUGTiP. It also has a consultancy service.

It organises short, individualised training stays for technical and research staff from the Can Ruti Campus who request it, with the aim of familiarising them with the most relevant genomic techniques.

The Translational Genomics Platform is part of the Sequencing Hub at the Can Ruti Campus for the surveillance and monitoring of the different SARS-CoV-2 strains.
